BK SEA&AIR LOGISTICS suggests and consults bonded warehousing cost reduction plan by way of customs clearance methods in compliance with the Customs Act according to customer's cargo and conditions to minimize bonded storage fees.

Bonded Warehousing Cost Reduction

Foreign goods may be transported only in bonded mode if they are transported between the places listed as below :

    Open ports
    Bonded areas
    Customs office premises
Areas specially permitted by the district customs house
    Customs clearance stations
    Customs clearance places

The declaration of bonded transportation should be made under the name of the owner of the goods, carrier, or customs broker, who is engaged in bonded transportation. The customs house may request a security deposit for customs duty on goods under bonded transportation at the time when the declaration of transportation in bond is accepted.

Import goods from a foreign country cannot enter the country before import declaration is accepted. Import goods may be stored in bonded areas or may be transported to other bonded areas before the clearance. Domestic goods for export are also treated as foreign goods once the export declaration is accepted, and the bonded system is applied from the time.

The district customs may, taking into account the character of the goods to be transported in bond and the reliability of persons who are engaged in bonded transportation, designate such person as eligible for the simplified procedure of declaration, which exempt inspection, or security on the goods to be transported in bond.
